Period and notice
You may withdraw from a distance sales contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the day you or a third party you designate, other than the carrier, receives the goods. For one order delivered as separate items, the period starts on receipt of the last item; for goods consisting of multiple parts, on receipt of the last part.
To meet the deadline, send an unequivocal declaration to info@modernglassdesigns.cz or the seller's registered office before the period expires. The form below is optional. Include information that allows us to identify your order. You do not have to give a reason, create an account or use registered post.
Returns and refunds
Send or hand over the goods to Zásada 162, 468 25 Zásada, Czech Republic without undue delay and within 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before it expires. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we disclose the actual return cost or a reasonable estimate before ordering.
When you withdraw from the entire contract, we refund all payments received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered for that order. Extra costs of a more expensive delivery option chosen by you are not refunded. We refund without undue delay and within 14 days after receiving notice of withdrawal, using the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without an additional fee. We may withhold the refund only until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first, unless we offered to collect the goods ourselves.
You may inspect and handle the goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You are liable only for diminished value resulting from handling beyond that scope. Original packaging is not a condition for withdrawal; we recommend safely packing fragile goods. We do not impose a flat penalty for returning goods.
The exception applies to genuinely individually made or clearly personalised goods, not automatically to all handmade goods or standard offered variants. An exception to withdrawal does not restrict rights relating to defects.

For partial withdrawal, we refund the price of the returned goods and original delivery charges to the extent required by applicable law. In assessing delivery charges, we consider whether the same costs would have arisen to deliver only the retained goods; we explain the calculation to you. We do not apply an automatic percentage deduction to the refund.
This policy does not restrict consumer protection under mandatory provisions of the law of your habitual residence where those provisions apply to the contract.
